The materials used in Rubber Processing are Chemicals such as Sulphur, Zinc Oxide, TMT, Titanium, MBTS. They use minerals namely Calcium Carbonate and Carbon. Also, they use processing oil called RPO (Rubber Processing Oil), all these materials are mixed using Rubber processing machinery. A variety of rubber processing machinery are available such as Ban-bury mixture, Kneader machine, mixing mills, calendaring machine, extruding machine, hydraulic press, roto-cure & cooling conditioner.
Two kinds of Rubber are available namely Natural and Synthetic. Natural rubber is extracted from Rubber Tree. Synthetic rubber is a petroleum-based product derived from crude oil and added other chemicals. A rubber manufacturer must conduct formulation of rubber more cautiously than when they are making plastic or steel. During preparation of the materials in the matter of plastic and steel, it consists of the combination of three to four types of elements. On the flipside, the processing of rubber is far more complex, and it involves the combination of ten to twenty distinct compounds. No different formula to obtain the standard forms. It needs to be customized according to the standards set. The manufacturing cycle forces this element to go through different types of chemical reactions mostly when it is vulcanized.
The activities need to be reversed commonly when finding out the quantity of compounds used in this chemical reactions. Since there are no specific formulas, mistakes are bound to happen. To avoid such problems during the production cycle, the rubber manufacturer needs to focus on not to altering articular features of rubber which will otherwise lead to unappealing results.
Among the basic features of rubber is its ability to stretch for a substantial length. This supports why it is undergoes such applications where it must persevere to endure any form of stress. It must be produced by the rubber producer in a way that those chemicals don’t impede the rubber’s resilience feature so that it becomes durable. When it is used for the production of pipes, the rubber manufacturers must make it strong enough to endure any form of harsh chemical.
The basic use of rubber is passing oils and gasoline which is quite a common. Moreover, harsh fluids like alkalis, acids or cleansing solvents can also go through rubber for various industrial purposes. If the best formulation is not achieved by the rubber manufacturer then it may lead to the pipe getting crumbled or dissolved. Besides these factors, rubber producers can make it to resist extreme temperatures so that the rubber can withstand extremely hot or far below the freezing point temperatures.
